Emre Guney is a highly experienced professional in the fields of computational systems biology and data science, currently serving as the CTO and Head of Discovery and Data Science at STALICLA since April 2019, where efforts focus on identifying disease subtypes and treatments for autism patients using advanced data integration methods. Emre also contributes to several projects as Head of Computational Systems Biology at REPO4EU and as a Work Package Leader and Steering Committee Member at REPO-TRIAL. Emre's previous roles include Senior Research Officer at GRIB - IMIM, Affiliate Research Fellow at Maastricht University, and various postdoctoral positions in network pharmacology at Northeastern University and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Emre's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, an M.S. in Bioinformatics from Koç University, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
