James Till is currently the Operational Response lead officer and watch manager at the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) since December 2023 and has served as the Operational risk lead and crew manager at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service since August 2018. Prior to these roles, James Till worked at Staffordshire County Council from March 2005 to August 2018, holding various positions including commissioning officer and quality assurance specialist, with achievements in service redesign and contract management in children's and adult services. James Till's educational background includes a diploma in Emergency and Community Services and certifications from the Institute of Fire Engineers and IOSH.
