Richard Latta is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate tax law. Currently a partner at Stafford Rosenbaum LLP in Madison, Wisconsin, Richard's practice encompasses corporate and partnership acquisitions and reorganizations, tax-optimized restructurings, corporate governance, and tax controversy matters, among other areas. Prior roles include shareholder at Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., and partner at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, where Richard was actively involved in management committees and strategic planning. Earlier career positions include work as an associate in tax groups at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, along with foundational experience as a staff accountant at EY.
