Roland Wittwer is an experienced professional with a strong background in ICT coordination, social informatics, and media pedagogy. Since 2016, Roland has served as the Head of ICT Coordination and a member of the management board at Stadt St.Gallen, overseeing complex ICT project portfolios and analyzing business processes for digital transformation. As a freelancer at imedio gmbh, Roland has led innovative projects in education, health, and social sectors. Previous roles include ICT and infrastructure manager at Careum Bildungszentrum and various leadership positions focused on media competence and youth support at Pro Juventute. Roland holds multiple advanced degrees, including a recent CAS as Chief Digital Officer from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and has contributed to academia as a lecturer at OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences.
