Inge De Meyer is an experienced professional in safety, security, and facility management, currently serving as Master Project Leader and Staff Member for Facility Policy and Management at Stad Gent since January 2020. In this role, Inge oversees infrastructure policy and space issues in education, childcare, and youth, coordinates strategic projects, and collaborates with various internal and external partners. Prior to this position, Inge held roles such as Deputy Director for Compliance at Stad Gent and Head of Facility Management at OCMW Gent, overseeing cleaning services and goods purchasing. With a background that includes significant safety policy coordination as Head of Safety and prior experience as a Prevention Advisor for multiple municipalities and police zones, Inge has built a solid foundation in safety legislation and facility management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Criminology from Ghent University and various certifications in safety and prevention.
