Sara Roncada is currently serving as the 8th Alderman for the city of Genk since January 2022, representing the CD&V political party and overseeing social welfare, religious services, and chairing the Special Committee for Social Services. Additionally, Roncada has worked as a Payroll Consultant at Prato since 2016 and previously held the position of Employment Consultant at Asap Belgium from 2008 to 2016, where responsibilities included managing client files, recruitment, payroll administration, social legislation compliance, and liaising with various stakeholders. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Management and Policy from KU Leuven, obtained in 2007, and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the same institution, completed in 2006, along with secondary education in Greek and Latin from Onze-Lieve-Vrouwlyceum Genk.
