Bormans Bernd currently serves as the Coördinator Bedrijfsleven Dienst Economie at Stad Genk, a position held since July 2013, focusing on stimulating entrepreneurship and acting as the primary contact for all businesses in Genk. Prior to this role, Bormans worked as an Environmental Expert for the City and County of Genk from February 2006 to July 2013 and as a Stagiar Milieucoordinator at Lisec nv in 2003-2004. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science and Engineering from Avans University of Applied Sciences (2004-2005) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science from Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg (2001-2004).
