Matt Collis has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Matt is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of StackGo, a position they assumed in September 2020. Before that, from 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Product Strategist, Co-Founder, and CPO for various organizations as a self-employed professional. One of their notable accomplishments during this time includes leading the product strategy, development, and launch of the Hotel App Store for SiteMinder, a privately-owned Australian tech unicorn.
From 2008 to 2018, Matt was the Founder and CEO of Glasshat, where they created the world's first AI-driven SEO recommendation engine. The platform provided SEO assistance to thousands of small business owners worldwide. After ten years of hard work, Matt sold Glasshat to Dreamscape Networks in 2018.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Matt worked at 24/7 Real Media as a General Manager from 2005 to 2008. Matt led a team of 30 digital marketing professionals and managed the Paid Search Account Management team. During this time, they formulated SEM strategies for prominent Australian advertisers such as AAMI, Expedia, and hotels.
Matt also held positions as a Product Manager at Star Internet from 2003 to 2004, at Apoapsis from 2000 to 2001, and at UUNET from 1996 to 2000.
Matt Collis completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from AGSM @ UNSW Business School from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Branston Community College from 1989 to 1994, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
