Axel Sikora has extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as stellv. Institutsleiter and Bereichsleiter Software Solutions at Hahn-Schickard since October 2015, and holding a professorship in Embedded Systems and Communication Electronics at Hochschule Offenburg since September 2011. As wissenschaftlicher Leiter at the Institut für verlässliche Embedded Systems und Kommunikationselektronik (ivESK), Axel also co-founded and currently serves as Gesellschafter at STACKFORCE GmbH. Additionally, Axel has been Chairman of the embedded world Conference since March 2018 and has led the Steinbeis-Transferzentrum Embedded Design und Networking since October 2002. Previously, Axel held key positions at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, NEC Electronics (Europe) GmbH, and RWE Telliance AG. Axel's educational background includes a Dr.-Ing. in Elektrotechnik from the Fraunhofer Institute and degrees in Wirtschaftswissenschaft and Elektrotechnik from RWTH Aachen University.
