Sherine Arafat is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Embedded Software Engineering at Stack AV since April 2023, Sherine previously held senior roles at Latitude AI and Argo AI, where responsibilities included overseeing software engineering teams. Prior to that, Sherine was the Head of Software CDA North America at Valeo, leading the software department for driving assistance and autonomous driving initiatives. Sherine's career in the software industry began with various roles at Valeo North America, progressing from Senior Software Team Lead to Software Development Manager. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in System Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Diploma in Embedded Systems from ITI, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Ain Shams University.
