Arseny Vasilyev is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and autonomous vehicles. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer for the ML Platform at Stack AV since October 2024, Arseny previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer on the Autonomous Vehicle Team at Helm.ai from December 2017 to September 2024. Prior roles include Optical Engineer in the System Engineering Group at Infinera and Product Engineer in Operations at JDSU (now Lumentum). Arseny's early career included work as a Research Scientist at Orbits Lightwave Inc. and as a Graduate Researcher at Caltech, where Arseny earned a Ph.D. in Applied Physics. Arseny also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
