Billal Nawabi is a Structural Analysis Engineer at Supernal since June 2022, specializing in hand calculations, finite element analysis (FEA) validation, and advanced simulations of aerostructures. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Engineering Analyst at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where focus areas included structures and hydrodynamics, and completing an internship with dynamic simulations of vessel confinement systems. Billal has held the role of Structural Analysis Engineer at Boeing, focusing on the durability and damage tolerance of composite aerostructures, and participated in a NASA fellowship involving the fabrication of a full-scale composite blended wing concept. Additional experience encompasses roles at the University of California, San Diego, Rocket Propulsion Laboratory, and TEECOM.
