Michael Y. Liu, CFA, has extensive experience in the finance industry, currently serving as Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities since February 2011, where responsibilities include trading asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDOs). Prior to this role, Michael held positions as Director, Vice President, and Associate at Guggenheim Securities, all focused on ABS and CDO trading. Previous experience includes an Analyst role in Omnium Knowledge Management at Citadel LLC from July 2008 to February 2011 and a position as Research Analyst at Brighton House Associates in 2007. Michael holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago, earned in 2009.
