Karen O'Hanlon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in clinical development and project management in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer and Head of Clinical Development at Stablepharma Limited since September 2023, Karen O'Hanlon previously held the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations at Boyds from August 2019 to September 2023. As the founder and Director of Blue Duck Consulting from July 2013 to August 2019, Karen O'Hanlon specialized in advancing molecules through late-stage research to clinical studies. Prior roles include Project Director at Retroscreen Virology Ltd, Project Manager at SRA Global Clinical Development, and various positions in preclinical project management. Karen O'Hanlon earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester and holds a BSc (Hons) in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow.
