Scott O'Toole has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Scott began their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Percussion Department at the University of Alabama. In 2012, they also started working as an Independent Musician, organizing solo and collaborative performances and negotiating contracts, fees, and charitable donations. In 2015, they began working as an Artist Liaison at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, managing transportation and travel details, concert logistics and schedules, and hospitality of guest soloists, composers, and conductors. At the same time, they also began working as a Sales Representative for DMC Atlanta, Inc., learning detailed product knowledge of DirecTV and AT&T products and services. In 2017, they began working as a Frontend Developer/Engineer for Self-Employed. In 2018, they started working as a Mobile Application Developer and Web Developer for Wikilane Inc. and in 2019, they began working as a Software Engineer for Stable Kernel.

Scott O'Toole began their educational career in 2008 when they attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Percussion, which they completed in 2012. Scott then attended The University of Alabama and earned a Master of Music in Percussion in 2014. In 2017, they returned to school to pursue a degree in Web Development and earned a Full-Stack Developer certification from Thinkful in 2018.
