Maurice Steger is a highly accomplished professional musician and educator, currently serving as a Professor at Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg and a Professional Musician at Edel Verlagsgruppe GmbH. Steger has held various significant positions, including Dirigent for Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, Staatstheater Braunschweig, and Hessischer Rundfunk, and President of SJMW. As the Artistic Director for Blockfloetenfesttage Stockstadt and Director of the Baroque Academy at Menuhin Festival Gstaad, Steger has contributed to the arts community extensively. Additionally, Steger has been associated with Sony Music Entertainment and Les Violons du Roy et La Chapelle de Québec since 2010. Educational credentials include a Master Performance and Master Pedagogic in Recorder from ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.
