Bette Hedden, PMP, serves as the Senior Pastor at St. Paul United Methodist Church since July 2022, following a similar role at Cokesbury United Methodist Church and Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Pastor at Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church and a variety of roles in project management, including positions at MetLife, Covansys, IBM, Cytec, and Allegro Consulting. Bette holds a Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University. Additionally, Bette is a Local Licensed Pastor and Certified Candidate within the UMC South Carolina Conference and has experience as a clergy intern and hospital chaplain, along with a background as a flutist.
