Danny Veniott has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Danny began their career as a Respiratory Therapist at QEII Health Sciences Centre in 1997 and worked there until 2003. Danny then joined St. Mary's General Hospital and held various roles, including Professional Practice Lead and Program Manager, in the Respiratory Therapy department. At St. Mary's Chest Program, they managed the Respiratory Therapists and Airways Clinics. In 2014, Danny Veniott served as the Chair of the Exam Review and Development Committee at the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care Inc. Additionally, they worked as a Faculty Instructor at Conestoga College from 2008 to 2015. Currently, they are serving as the Program Manager for Respiratory Therapy and the Innovation Lead in the Department of Strategy at St. Mary's General Hospital.
Danny Veniott started their education by attending Dalhousie University from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics. Danny then went on to attend the QEII School of Allied Health from 1995 to 1997, specializing in Respiratory Therapy and earning the degree of Respiratory Therapist. Danny also has additional certifications as an Advanced Life Support Instructor and a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
