Loren Barnes has been working as a Freelance Writer, Editor, and Translator since October 2018. Prior to that, they were a Bilingual Psychotherapy Practicum Program Student at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute, providing therapy in English and French for individual clients. Before that, they worked as a Counselor in Training at the Counseling and Social Advocacy Center at UMSL and as a French Interpreter at LAMP Interpreters. Loren also has experience as a French Tutor, Student Manager, Student Caller, Conference Assistant, and Waitress/Hostess. They hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor's degrees in Modern Languages - French and Psychology.
