Stephane Legal currently serves as Operations Controller at The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Stephane worked as a Laborer at R. O. Beam and Son for a brief period in 2020, and served in the Canadian Armed Forces from July 2009 to July 2020, achieving the rank of Naval Officer with responsibilities in command, coordination, and leadership of military maritime operations. Notable positions within the naval service included Navigation Officer aboard HMCS EDMONTON, HMCS NANAIMO, and HMCS BRANDON. In addition to military duties, Stephane has experience in coaching, having served as Goalie Coach at both St. Michael High School of Niagara Falls and Dave Marlin Goaltending Academy. Stephane holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Government from Brock University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
