Steve Pound currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources at St. Joseph's/Candler since July 2011. Previously, Steve was Vice President at Hamilton Health Care System from July 2002 to November 2010, overseeing 24 cost centers with significant operational revenue and expenses, managing various human resources functions for 1,800 employees, and having full operational responsibility for diverse business units. Prior to that role, Steve held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at CompFirst, LLC. from November 2000 to July 2002, focusing on corporate human resources strategic planning. Steve began the career at Shaw Industries, where the role evolved from Director of Human Resources to Director of Corporate Employment Resources. Steve holds a Master's in Health Administration and an MBA from Georgia State University, as well as a BBA in Business Management from the University of Georgia.
