Melissa Allen Foster has extensive experience in marketing and public relations, currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at St. Joseph's/Candler, a multi-hospital health system since August 1993. In this role, Melissa oversees a multi-department division that includes marketing, public relations, a seniors program, and a nurse call center. Prior to this, Melissa gained valuable experience as a producer at Banjo Film Production, managing start-to-finish project execution, and as a producer/writer at WIS-TV, where the focus was on commercial production. Additional roles included advertising writer and special events coordinator at Belk Department Stores, legislative assistant at The Legislative Council of the General Assembly, and office assistant at Nelson, Mullins, Riley and Scarborough. Melissa holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the same institution.
