LaTonya Smith, MS, currently serves as Chief Program Officer at St. Joseph Center and has held the position of Interim President & CEO since March 2022. With a robust background in leadership and program management, LaTonya previously worked as Senior Director at MHALA from August 2018 to April 2022, and Project Director at The People Concern from June 2016 to August 2018. LaTonya began their career in program management as a Program Manager at Phoenix House from 2012 to June 2016, supervising a Lead Senior Counselor in a clinical setting. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organizational Behavior Studies from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Science (MS) in Human Behavior from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University.
