Bill Smutz currently serves as the Interim/Transitional Pastor (Head of Staff) at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood since February 2021. Additionally, Bill Smutz has held the position of Interim/Transitional Senior Pastor at First Congregational Church of St. Louis (UCC) since December 2017 and has been an Interim Pastor at St. John's United Church of Christ since 2015. Previous positions include Pastor/Head of Staff at Central Presbyterian Church (2007-2014), Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church (2002-2007), and Covenant Presbyterian Church (1995-2002), along with serving as Associate Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church (1990-1995) and First Presbyterian Church (1987-1990). Bill Smutz earned a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Eden Theological Seminary, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Business from Westminster College (MO).
