Walter (Wally) Esser serves as the Supervising Regulatory Scientist at the St. Johns River Water Management District. Previously, Wally held the position of Aquatic Biologist at WAPORA, Inc. from 1987 to 1989. Wally earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Fisheries from Eastern Kentucky University.
