Kimberli Ponzio is an accomplished Environmental Scientist with extensive experience at the St. Johns River Water Management District since January 1989, where Kimberli currently serves as an Environmental Scientist V, focusing on ecological studies and wetland ecosystem processes. Kimberli's expertise encompasses the restoration and management of wetland areas in the Upper St. Johns River Basin, as well as conducting comprehensive assessments of wetland functions and values. In addition, Kimberli has held multiple leadership roles within the Society of Wetland Scientists, including President, Immediate Past President, and Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Kimberli's educational background includes a Master of Science in Wetlands Ecology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University.
