Kip Coerper is an accomplished music professional with extensive experience in choral and ecclesiastical music. Currently serving as the Organist and Choirmaster at St. James Episcopal Church since August 2017, Kip also holds the position of Music Director for the MasterWorks Chorale of CNY, leading a 60-voice community ensemble in multiple annual concerts. Prior roles include Music Director at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where responsibilities included directing choirs and planning liturgies, and Music Director at Porter-Gaud School, where Kip taught music and directed multiple choirs. Additional experience includes work as Organist and Choirmaster at the Church of the Holy Communion. Kip holds a Bachelor of Music degree from The College of Wooster, earned in 1977.
