Rita Kanagat

Rita Kanagat is a dedicated researcher and graduate student with extensive experience in animal behavior and conservation. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, Rita manages a zebra finch colony and conducts research on song learning. Rita has a background in marine mammal cognition as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Hunter College and has volunteered at St Hubert's Animal Welfare Center since December 2017.
