Matt Costello is a professional rugby player with extensive experience in the sport, currently representing Barrow Raiders RLFC since November 2023 and previously playing for Salford Red Devils Rugby League Club since December 2020 and St. Helens R.F.C., where the team became the 2020 Super League Champions. Prior to their sports career, Matt held a position as a Waste Management Specialist with Wigan Council and worked as an Apprentice Electrician at IPB Electrical. Educationally, Matt pursued sports and exercise science at The University of Bolton and earned a Higher National Diploma in Sports and Exercise from Warrington and the Vale College. Matt's foundational education was completed at Carmel Sixth Form College and St Peter's RC High School, Orrell.
