Chris Kennedy currently serves as the Media and Communications Manager for the St George Illawarra Dragons since October 2022. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Sports Producer for a start-up publisher from May 2022 to October 2022 and as a Journalist for the National Rugby League between October 2017 and April 2022, focusing on online coverage for NRL.com. Chris's background includes a tenure as a National Correspondent for Telstra, covering the NRL from October 2013 to October 2017, and editorial roles at Sterling Publishing Pty Ltd, including Editor and Deputy Editor across various financial publications. Earlier experience includes several positions at Reed Business Information, where Chris started as a cadet journalist, eventually becoming a News Editor. Chris holds a Bachelor of Communications degree in Journalism from Western Sydney University, earned between 2003 and 2005.
