Allison Gedstad is an Associate Veterinarian at St. Francis Animal Hospital, with experience spanning from June 2022 to the present and previously serving as a Veterinary Assistant at Saint Francis Animal Hospital from June 2012 to May 2022. In these roles, Allison Gedstad has educated clients on pet health topics and taught practical skills related to pet care. Prior experience includes working as a Student Assistant at the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety, where conference planning and evaluation contributed to ongoing foodborne disease research, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, managing a cancer research colony and guiding student researchers. Allison Gedstad holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and a Global Studies degree with minors in Animal Science and Biology from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, study was undertaken at La Fundación Ortega y Gasset in Argentina in 2015.
