Leighton Wilks CMgr MCMI currently serves as a School Staff Instructor at St Edmund's College since April 2023. Previously, Leighton managed the U14s Girls team for the English Schools' Football Association from August 2021 to July 2023. A significant portion of Leighton's career was spent with the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards from February 1999 to April 2023, holding various roles including Regimental Quartermasters Sergeant and Master Tailor. Leighton also served as a coach at Reading Football Club and as a lead and assistant coach at Aldershot Town Academy. In academia, Leighton is pursuing a Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership, in addition to having completed Level 6 and Level 4 Diplomas in Leadership and Management through the Chartered Management Institute, and achieving Chartered Manager status.
