Brian Barnes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and operations. Currently serving as the Manager of Palliative Care & Hospice Operations at St. Charles Health System since August 2020, Brian provides operational leadership across various programs, including Advanced Illness Management and Hospice. Previously, Brian held multiple roles at Central City Concern from September 2014 to May 2020, including Medical Social Worker-Hospice and Director of Operations for the Hooper Detoxification and Stabilization Center. Brian's background also includes significant leadership positions in behavioral health and addiction services, as well as a long tenure at Wells Fargo and Wachovia Corp in compliance and mortgage servicing. Brian's educational achievements include a PhD in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, an MSW from Portland State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
