Marc Shrimpling is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in EU and UK competition law, state aid, and public procurement. Currently serving as a Partner and Legal Director at Osborne Clarke since November 2015, Marc also holds the position of Foundation Governor and Trustee at St. Bede's Catholic College. Previously, Marc was a member of the Strategic Trade Advisory Group for the Department for Business and Trade from July 2020 to January 2023 and led the Competition & EU department at Foot Anstey LLP from May 2014 to October 2015. Prior roles include Solicitor at Burges Salmon LLP, a secondment to the Office of Fair Trading's Policy Group, and Trainee Solicitor at Slaughter and May. Marc holds an MA in Jurisprudence (Law with European Law) from the University of Oxford and an LPC from BPP Law School, as well as a degree in EU and International Law from Leiden University.
