Ryan Kare is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in mine planning and technical services. Currently serving as Manager - Mine Technical Services at St Barbara Limited since August 2023, Ryan previously held positions such as Superintendent - Mine Planning at Navarre Minerals Ltd from December 2021 to July 2023 and Superintendent - Mine Planning at Evolution Mining from July 2015 to December 2021. Ryan's career also includes progressive roles in mining engineering at Barrick Gold Corporation and Newcrest Mining, beginning as an Industrial Trainee in 2007 and rising to Long Term Planning Engineer. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, completed in 2008.
