Rex Afan has extensive experience in both healthcare and liturgical roles. Since March 2015, Rex has served as a Liturgist, Cantor, and Guitar Accompanist at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, alongside similar responsibilities at St. Agnes Parish since April 1992. In the healthcare sector, Rex has worked with the United States Department of Defense and San Diego Naval Medical Center since October 2009, currently holding the position of Supervisor in Diagnostic Radiology and serving as an Advanced Radiologic Technologist School Phase II Clinical Instructor. Previous military experience includes serving as Senior Enlisted Leader in the US Navy from June 2006 to July 2009 and as Operations Leading Chief Petty Officer for the United States Navy from June 2006 to June 2007. Educational qualifications include a degree in Hospital Corpsman, Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer from the Naval School of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix.
