Patrick McCruden is the Chief Mission Integration Officer at SSM Health since February 2018, responsible for embedding the organization’s Mission, Values, Vision, and Catholic identity throughout all operational aspects. In addition, Patrick serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Previous roles include Senior Vice President and Chief Mission Officer at CHI St. Vincent, and Executive Vice President for Mission and Ethics at Sisters of Mercy Health System. Patrick holds a Doctor of Bioethics and a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University Chicago, a Masters of Theological Studies from Catholic Theological Union, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas.
