Daniel Lischwe has an extensive medical career, serving as Chairman of the Department of Family Practice at SSM DePaul Medical Center since January 1991. Lischwe also held the position of President of Medical Staff from January 2012 to December 2013. With over four decades of experience as a family physician at SSM Health Care starting in July 1980, Lischwe combines clinical expertise with leadership in healthcare. Lischwe is an alumnus of CBC High School and obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where studies were completed from 1973 to 1980.
