Dani Thomas currently serves as Vice President and Senior Director at SSI Strategy, a consultancy that merges business expertise with medical, clinical, and safety knowledge to support clients effectively. Previously, Dani held the position of Medical Affairs Director for Inflammation at Amgen USA Inc., leading the transition of Apremilast and delivering key medical objectives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier roles include Deputy to the Executive Affiliate Medical Director at Celgene Ltd., where leadership responsibilities encompassed country medical team management and governance committees, and serving as Medical Director for the Immunology and Inflammation franchise in the UK and Ireland. Dani’s extensive experience in medical affairs spans several leading pharmaceutical companies, including Boehringer-Ingelheim, Novo Nordisk A/S, Reckitt Benckiser, and GlaxoSmithKline. Educational qualifications include an MbChB in medicine from The University of Manchester and MRCS certification, complemented by business development training from CELforPharma.
