Bjarke Feenstra is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in statistical genetics and biostatistics. Currently serving as a research group leader at Copenhagen University Hospital Biobank Unit since October 2022, Feenstra has been a group leader at Statens Serum Institut since August 2007, where contributions include roles as senior research scientist and research scientist. Previous experience includes a position as a research scientist and statistician at deCODE genetics, focusing on statistical analysis of genome-wide association data sets. Feenstra also worked as a research assistant at Columbia University and an assistant editor at the Danish National Encyclopedia. Educational achievements include a PhD in Statistical Genetics from Den Kgl. Veterinær- og Landbohøjskole and an M.Sc. in Biology and Statistics from Københavns Universitet.
