Gary Cox is an experienced production technician currently working at SSE Thermal since May 2022. Prior to this role, Gary served as a wind turbine technician and authorized technician at SSE Renewables from March 2018 to May 2022. Gary's earlier experience includes serving as an engineer at Stobart Air, focusing on line maintenance for ATR42 and ATR72 aircraft, and as an avionics team leader at Shannon Aerospace, where responsibilities included overseeing electrical and avionic tasks. Additionally, Gary worked as an aircraft maintenance technician, involved in a range of avionic wiring modifications and system checks. Gary holds a Master of Science in Industrial Networks and Cybersecurity from South East Technological University and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, where Gary also obtained a degree in avionics.
