Andrew Low is an experienced professional in the field of hydrology and energy, currently serving as Hydro Investment Manager and Water Management Lead at SSE Renewables since August 2017. In this role, Andrew provides innovative feedback to the Energy Leadership Team and assesses opportunities, threats, and risks for the business. Prior to this position, Andrew worked as a Hydrologist and Hydraulic Modeller at Mott MacDonald from 2009 to 2017, and served as a Flood Planning Assistant for The City of Edinburgh Council in 2014-2015. Andrew began their career as a Graduate Engineer at Grontmij | Carl Bro. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Flood Risk Management from the University of Glasgow and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
