Rhys Howell is an experienced professional in the utility sector, currently serving as Design Team Manager for Large Connections at SSE plc since March 2015. Previously held roles at SSE plc include Delivery Support Manager, Lead Wayleave Officer, and Wayleave Officer, focusing on negotiating and securing wayleaves for new connection schemes and managing substation transfers and leases. Prior to this, Rhys worked at UPL as a Wayleave Officer and AutoCAD Designer, collaborating with developers to conduct land registry searches and produce legal feasibility reports. Rhys began a career in the energy sector at EDF Energy as a Sales Agent from 1999 to 2006.
