Henry Evans is a seasoned professional in corporate affairs and policy management, currently serving as the Corporate Affairs and Policy Manager at SSE Energy Solutions since August 2021. Prior to this role, Henry held various positions at GFG Alliance, including Media Relations and Government Affairs Manager, as well as Media Relations Officer. Henry began a career in journalism at ICIS as a Senior Reporter and Market Expert, with a focus on the UK power market, and also contributed significantly as the UK reporter for European Daily Electricity Markets. Additional experience includes serving as the Editor of Marine Engineering & Offshore Technology, where Henry covered advancements in maritime and offshore technologies for a publication targeting the BRIC countries. Henry holds a degree in Classics from the University of Oxford, obtained from 2007 to 2011.
