Curt Burmeister serves as the Chief Technology Officer for both SS&C Algorithmics and SS&C Blue Prism since December 2019. Prior to this role, Curt held several significant positions at IBM, including Director of Research for Innovations and Financial Engineering, where the focus was on developing financial risk management solutions utilizing Big Data and Cloud technologies. As a leader in risk analytics, Curt was the Head of Cloud Solutions at Algorithmics from 2008 to 2012, following various roles within the company from 2001 to 2008, including Vice President and Senior Director of Risk Solutions. Earlier career experiences include founding Indigo Research, serving as a Senior Financial Engineer at Algorithmics, and holding engineering positions at Centerline Software and Digital Equipment Corporation. Curt earned an MBA in Financial Engineering from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in Computer Science & Mathematics from Cornell University.
