Thomas Brightwell is an experienced Software Manager currently employed at SRT Marine Systems plc since June 2023. Prior to this role, Thomas served as Software Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Wärtsilä Voyage from January 2015, where responsibilities included designing and managing software for product lines, troubleshooting system issues, and engaging directly with customers. Thomas also led a software team at 3DX-RAY Ltd from June 2006 to November 2014, developing solutions for the industrial and security inspection markets. Earlier in their career, Thomas worked as a Development Engineer at Ilmor Engineering Ltd., where software for Mercedes' engine test facilities was overhauled. Thomas holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Leicester.
