Scott Jones has extensive experience in law enforcement, holding various positions since joining the Santa Rosa County Sheriff in February 2000, culminating in the role of Captain of the Investigations Division. Prior roles include Detective Lieutenant, Major Crimes Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, and Detective in both Major and Property Crimes. Scott Jones also served as Deputy Sheriff in both patrol and court security roles. Educationally, Scott Jones earned a Master of Science, Bachelor of Science, and Associate of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Troy University.
