Alex Tunnadine is a Senior Consultant Geologist at SRK Consulting since April 2022, previously serving as Lead Geologist at BHP from May 2018 to April 2022. In this role, Alex was instrumental in training and mentoring geologists and geotechnical engineers while contributing to significant projects such as the first fully integrated 3D model of Olympic Dam. Earlier positions include Exploration Geologist at ARTGeoConsulting, Geoscientist in Unconventional Petroleum at Macquarie University, and multiple roles at BHP and Aimia Inc. Alex holds degrees in Geology, Mineral Economics, and Practical Geocommunications, with ongoing education in structural geology and porphyry systems.
