Zhenhao Ge has been an Advanced Computer Scientist at SRI International since Nov. 2022. Before joining SRI International, he worked as a Staff Research Scientist at Appen (Nov. 2021 – Oct. 2022), a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at SONY PlayStation (Nov. 2018 – Nov. 2021), a Senior Software Engineer at Otter.ai (May 2017 – Oct. 2018), and a Sr. Speech Processing Engineer at Interactive Intelligence (later acquired by Genesys, Nov. 2013 – May 2017).

Zhenhao obtained his Master’s and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University in 2008 and 2013. During his graduate studies, he worked with Prof. Paul Salama (for master) and Prof. Mark J.T. Smith (for PhD) in speech, image, and video processing.

His current research interests include applying machine learning and AI to speech, image, video, and natural language applications.
