Clay Spence is a Senior Computer Scientist at SRI International, with extensive experience in the research and development of algorithms for a range of practical applications, including hyperspectral image analysis, video change detection, and tumor detection in mammograms. Spence has worked on various advanced projects throughout a career that began at Sarnoff Corporation, where the role of Member of the Technical Staff was held from 1987 to 2010. Additionally, Spence served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Burlington County College in 2006, teaching a physics lab section. Educational credentials include a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Physics, all obtained from UC Irvine between 1975 and 1987.
